Online or in person tuition on flute, whistles, guitar, bouzouki and more
online:
Wherever you are in the world I can teach on Zoom, FaceTime or Skype from my studio. I’ve a solid and hard-wired connection with professional cameras, lights and sound. This costs the same as an in person lesson but you may record the sessions for free and I can send on additional sound files and notation.
Groups:
I’m very happy teaching groups and it can be a more cost effective way of learning if you have a group of friends that are all at around the same level. I also teach repertoire and arrangement to groups so any instruments are welcome. Get in touch to discuss.
in person:
At my studio in Leith. Limited availability due to childcare/touring etc but I’ll always try and fit you in. Mainly daytimes are preferred but I’ll make a few evening slots available to those working through the day.
pricing / block booking:
I find block bookings to be the most effective way of teaching and learning for everyone. It means we can build a mini syllabus for each block to focus on different things or mix it up to make sure a bit of everything is covered. Many students also seem to benefit from a degree of routine though we can be entirely flexible with times and dates. You can also save quite a lot by booking this way. One off lessons are available too but are a little more expensive.
Lessons are of a flexible length (1 hour approx) I’ll never cut one short if we’re in the middle of something and always leave time in the schedule to run over a little.
